SLOTTED WEIGHTS
Each shear box is supplied with a special calibrated weight calculated to
generate an initial pressure on the sample of: 0.125kgf/sq.cm
To obtain pressure multiples of 0.125kgf/sq.cm (that is 0.250, 0.500,
1, 2, 3 and 8kgf/sq. cm), two sets of calibrated weights are available,
in particular.

S 59/D
Set of calibrated weights for 50kg
Consisting of:
2 x 0.5kg calibrated weight
1 x 1kg calibrated weight
2 x 2kg calibrated weight
1 x 4kg calibrated weight
1 x 8kg calibrated weight
2 x 16kg calibrated weight

The succesion of pressure multiples of 0.125 kgf/sq.cm is obtained
by positioning the weight hanger at position (x9) for 60 x 60mm
specimens and (x7.92) for 2.5" diameter specimens and (x6.125) for 70x
70mm specimens.

S 59/E
Set of calibrated weights for 100kg
Consisting of:
2 x 0.5kg calibrated weight
1 x 0.50kg calibrated weight
1 x 1kg calibrated weight
4 x 2kg calibrated weight
2 x 5kg calibrated weight
8 x 10kg calibrated weight

The succession of pressure multiples of 0.125 kgf/sq.cm is obtained by
placing the weight hanger at position (x10) of the lever arm.

Unit Test Compression Proving Rings
- High tensile steel construction with Clamped machine block
- Calibrated before delivery, complete with calibration certificate
- All fitted with dial gauge 12mm x 0.002mm per division
- Used for load measurement and for calibration testing machines
