It has been found that the moisture content of soil, sand and aggregate can be obtained quickly and reasonably accurately using the UTS Moisture Tester. The test technique is base on the fact that water will react with moisture reagents to form a gas and that the quantity of gas form is directly proportional to the water present, providing a surplus of the chemical is used in the test.The quantity of gas is indicated on a built-in pressure gauge which is calibrated in percentage of moisture. Each instrument is supplied complete in a carrying case fitted with a balance for weighing the sample, one bottle of reagents, brush, cloth.scoop, steel ball {2 nosj. weight with hook flOgm), operation manual and calibration certificate.

IMPORTANT : MOISTURE REAGENTS IS A HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE. FOR EXPORT ORDERS THE CONTAINER OF MOISTURE REAGENTS IS REMOVED FROM THE CASE AND PACKED SEPARATELY. ATTENTION IS DRAWN TO THE LIMITATION IMPOSED ON TH FORM OF TRANSPORTATION .
